Nikolay Dimitrov plays chamber music at the Nieuwe Kerk in Groningen

Pianist Nikolay Dimitrov will take part in a concert of young musicians, which will take place on March 26 at 15:00 CET at the Nieuwe Kerk in Groningen.

He will play chamber music together with two of his colleagues. With Caspar Westerman /cello/, they will perform Sergei Prokofiev’s Sonata for cello and piano in C :1. Andante Grave, 2. Moderato, 3. Allegro ma non troppo.

Nikolay Dimitrov will partner with Anna Maring /violin/ in the performance of 12 Danzas españolas: No. 5, Andaluza (Arr. Kreisler for violin and piano).

With concerts for young musicians, the Association of Friends of the Nieuwe Kerk wants to offer young musicians the opportunity to gain concert experience. The concert starts at 3:00 PM. The church is open from 2.30 pm. When you walk in you will be offered a cup of tea or coffee. After the concert there is an opportunity to chat with each other and the musicians over a drink. Admission to the concert is free; afterwards there is a collection.
