Anyone who has attended in recent years will confirm it: this is a veritable feast of classical music. Iedereen Klassiek bathes everyone and everything in a joyful classical-music bath.
As usual Brussels Philharmonic closes the day performing some well-known classics.

It is night. A small fire, at first, ignites the dark beach into a blazing inferno. A young Andalusian woman performs an ecstatic dance. The hypnotic piano rhythms of De Falla’s Ritual Fire Dance set the stage for an unforgettable evening: the violin of Death beckons a Danse macabre by Camille Saint-Saëns, while Ravel and Chabrier evoke scorching Spanish landscapes and southern melancholy through their music. Pianist Julien Libeer conjures both pure poetry and lightning-fast notes from the Steinway in Ravel’s Concerto in G.
